Adding views to a sheet
Place a plan, section, elevation or callout on the page, set its scale, and it stays linked to the model.
- In Sheet view, open the tray's Views row.
- Click a view's button to place it on the current page, or drag it onto the page.
- Select the placed drawing. The Drawing card sets its Scale and Title override.
The Views row is grouped: Plans (one button per level), Site (Site plan and Location plan), Sections, Elevations, Callouts and Scenes, which are saved orthographic views. A view already on the page is greyed out. With no page yet, the row asks you to add one first.
Scale
Scale offers Fit to region and a list. The metric list is 1:10, 1:20, 1:50, 1:100, 1:200, 1:500, 1:1000, 1:1250 and 1:2500. The imperial list runs from 1" = 1'-0" down to 1" = 200'. A site plan offers 1:200 and 1:500, and a location plan 1:1250 and 1:2500. Plan sources also get a Drawing select: Floor plan, Foundation plan, Site plan or Location plan.
If the content is too big for the paper at the scale you ask for, the card says so, names the finest ratio that fits, and the drawing plots marked Not to scale. When two drawings overlap, whichever is later in the stacking order prints on top.
