Referenced drawings

A reference is another drawing shown inside this one without being copied in. Underlays are scans and guide images.

Open References in the tray. It has two tabs, Drawings and Underlays.

Drawings

  1. Click Attach DWG or DXF to attach a CAD file, or Attach a Linea model to pick another of your models.
  2. Once something is attached, Loaded references opens a manager with columns Reference, Status, Placed, Drawn from and Source file.

In the manager each reference has Reload (or Try again), Hide or Show, Remove link, Merge into master and Remove file. A drawing can carry up to 256 references.

Underlays

Show underlays toggles every scan and guide image at once. See Guide images.
