Moving things

Move is the first of four transform tools on the left rail. Arming it keeps whatever you've selected.

To move a selection

  1. Click Move.
  2. Click anywhere to move the selection, or pick up a vertex, an edge or a face.
  3. Click again to place it, or type a number to set the distance exactly.

Move works in plan and in 3D. A closed group moves as one object; enter the group to move its parts.
