Exporting a PDF

Export a single sheet or the whole set as PDF straight from the Pages chip.

  1. In Sheet view, put at least one drawing or note on the page.
  2. Click Export (PDF) in the Pages chip for the current page, or Export all (PDF) for the set.

A single page is one PDF named <drawing number>_<sheet name>_<date>.pdf, or <sheet name>_<date>.pdf when there's no drawing number. The set is one PDF, <project>_sheet-set_<date>.pdf, with a page per sheet at that sheet's own paper size and orientation. A toast reports when it's done and lists anything fitted, shortened or overlapping; fitted regions are marked Not to scale. After an export where every drawing was at true scale, the toast reminds you to print at 100% (Actual size).

You can also export from the Output modal (the Export button on the Files row): in its Drawing sheet group, pick a subject and click Export (PDF). Exports are made in your browser.
