Generating a 3D model

Describe an object, or give a photograph of one, and Linea makes a 3D model you can place in the drawing.

  1. Click the Library pill, then Generate a model.
  2. Choose Text to model or Image to model. For text, describe it in up to 600 characters. For an image, click Pick a photograph; one clear photograph of the object works best.
  3. Choose Fast (a quick shape to try in the room) or Detailed (cleaner geometry and real textures).
  4. Click Generate.
  5. Set the model's height, from 0.01 to 100 m, and the rest scales with it.
  6. Click Place in the drawing, then click the canvas.

Open a level before you place the model.
