Cut and fill

The cut and fill legend shows where your design digs into the ground and where it builds up.

  1. Mark the existing ground as the baseline (see Sculpting terrain).
  2. On the Site row's Settings tab, switch on Cut / fill.
  3. Look at the 3D view. A Cut / fill card appears at the bottom left of the canvas.

The card has swatches for Cut and Fill, a note that colour reaches full strength at ±2 m, and the Cut, Fill and Net volumes. It shows in 3D and Split.
