Trimming and extending

Trim cuts a line back to another; Extend stretches it out to meet one. Same two clicks either way.

To trim

  1. Click Trim on the left rail.
  2. Click a cutting edge, then click the piece of line to remove.

To extend

  1. Click Extend.
  2. Click a boundary edge, then click the line to stretch to meet it.
